I am extremely new to blogging and have no idea what to write about besides my Christian walk and my family. Right now, I am drawing a blank because I am way out of my comfort zone and this is way of out my league. My life is not fabulous and all I can say is I enjoy simply being me.
When you need to know that you are loved….Check out this great post by Katrina @ Konversations with Katrina!
“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” Ephesians 3:18 (NLT) Do you remember the first time someone told you that they loved you? It could of been as a child or an adult but do you remember […]

It’s time to decide whether you will continue to sit on the side lines and wait for one day or make this your day one. You will never see the finish line (your dreams), if you never start the race.
Ezra 10:4 “Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it” (NIV). What are you waiting for? Go out and do it!!!!
Do you associate happiness with comfort? To me being happy means being willing to change and grow. It is doing what it necessary to experience joy. Comfort means accepting things are they are, not willing to change. You get comfortable in your relationships, your jobs, and your everyday life, but yet deep down you are miserable. What you don’t speak out loud, you think it. You accept it and don’t fight to change it. Proverbs 4:23 “Above all, be careful what you think because your thoughts control your life” (ERV). Your thoughts control your life! Change your way of thinking can change your life. I’m just saying. If you think you can, you will. Get out of your comfort zone and find happiness. Live not exist.
If you don’t do anything else today, make sure you find something is laugh about. Find something that makes you smile, grin, or chuckle. Find something that tickles you or something that brings tears to your eyes from laughing so hard. Find something that humors you or makes you do a little jig. Find something that makes you sigh. Find something that makes you happy. Not everything has to be so serious. Don’t take for granted the smalls things in life like, LAUGHTER.
Go ahead, I dare you to LAUGH!!!!!
Naturally, we have to see it before we believe it. We tell ourselves “my faith is strong or I believe what God says”. Yet, we question and doubt when things are not changing for the good. When things are not going according to our plans we grumble and complain. That’s just how we are wired. However, the key to faith is not basing it off how we feel but making a decision to believe in spite of what we see. Don’t wait for it to feel right before you pursue your dreams, just do it. Stop letting your feelings hold you back from living, from going out and slaying your dragons. Stop waiting for someone to say it’s okay. If you believe and trust in God, then start acting like it. Make the decision everyday to believe even when the road ahead is uncertain. There will be twists and turns, unexpected detours and delays, lumps and bumps, and even some dead ends. Just change directions and keep going. God will still be right there beside you.
Life happens and sometimes we forget to be thankful. We let our circumstances cloud our blessings. Each morning we wake up that’s a blessing within itself. Tomorrow is gone but…..
The easiest yet hardest thing to do is to pray and believe that God will answer you. Our mountains, our problems, or circumstances tells us that things are impossible and there is no way things will turn around. So we start to doubt and lose faith because the waiting is unbearable. Instead of speaking doubt how about speak LIFE and Say What God Says. This week I challenge you to Pray first about it. Trust God for it. Wait and watch Him work. He NEVER fails!
If you can think it, God can do it. Take this weekend to ASK. THINK. IMAGINE!
